Spread over 25 acres of landscaped gardens,
the architecture and interiors are a seamless
confluence of traditional and the modern
- tiled roofs, antique doorways and stone
pillars give way to contemporary interiors
and state of the art facilities. Shreyas
is an environmentally friendly retreat
and care has been taken to retain the
original landscape and natural beauty

ACCOMMODATION

Shreyas has 14 exclusive rooms that
can accommodate a maximum of 25 people
on a sharing basis.

overlook the signature swimming pool.

One
3-Bedroom cottage
(with en-suite bathrooms) with its own
living room is designed for a group
of friends who wish to share the experience
in close proximity of each other.

elegantly designed tents
are set in a peaceful envirnoment amidst
the trees and flowering shrubs. Each tent
accommodates two persons and have bathrooms
leading to a private open-air garden at
the back.
All rooms and tents are air conditioned,
have ISD/STD lines as well as Broadband
Internet connections to keep you in touch
with family and work.

The walking
trail
along the periphery of the property
is a delight for the senses as it curves
around numerous trees, lotus ponds,
flowering gardens, fragrant herb gardens,
vegetable patches and rice paddy fields.
Gourmet
vegetarian cuisine - The
ingredients are freshly picked from
our herb and vegetable gardens and each
meal is thoughtfully planned so that
it complements the processes and the
lifestyle you will experience at the
Center.

Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi
-
The
water in our pool with an infinity edge
appears to cascade down to the meditation/yoga
hall in the distance. The heated pool
and jacuzzi are available for your use
between the hours of 6 am till 10 pm.
There is no lifeguard on duty and the
pool has a maximum depth of 5 feet.

An
extensive variety of books are available
for reading. Should you wish to borrow
a book during your stay with us, please
inform one of the members of the staff.

Cricket nets and
bowling machine: For
cricket enthusiasts, we have a cricket
net along with a professional bowling
machine they can test their batting skills
against.

Gym
- The
gym is equipped with a treadmill, cross
trainer and abdominal exercise equipment,
with attached changing room & shower
facilities.It is available for your use
24 hours. Please bring separate footwear
for this activity.

Outdoor
yoga & meditation hall Qualified
yoga instructors will guide you through
asanas (physical postures), breathing,
awareness and visualization processes
for a healthier body and mind as well
as enable internalization. This space
can also be used for outdoor lectures
and we can provide you with the required
AV equipment.

An open-air amphitheatre
- for
outdoor presentations and shows against
the backdrop of nature. |

A
lecture room
with
modern audio-visual equipment, including
a LCD projector and screen. The room has
a home theatre for watching presentations,
learning videos etc.

Broadband Internet
connection - Should you wish
to use your laptop to connect to the Internet,
we will arrange for a LAN lead to be delivered
to your tent/cottage.

Local/IDD/STD
calls - All calls will be charged
to your account at cost plus appropriate
government taxes.

Meals
- Vegetarian meals, carefully planned
to complement the lifestyle you will be
experiencing at the retreat, will be served
at specific times.

Room Cleaning
-
Rooms will be cleaned once a day. Should
you require additional cleaning, please
let one of the staff members know
Towels/Linen
etc - To reduce environmental
damage by washing detergents, towels/linens
will be provided for the duration of your
short stay and changed only on request.

Swimming
Pool Towels - These are available
by the poolside
·
Steam
Room
- If you wish to use the steam room facilities,
please give us 15 minutes time to operate
the equipment.

TV
- The facilities and activities at Shreyas
are designed to encourage reflection on
what is most important - your life. We
therefore hope you will not miss the presence
of a TV in your room.
·
Drinking Water
- The water in the retreat
has been purified by passing it though
a softening plant, ozone system, ultra
violet and reverse-osmosis process. It
is perfectly safe for drinking but we
appreciate you may prefer to have bottled
water, which will be charged to your account. |

SOME GUIDELINES FOR YOUR STAY:
Room
Service: There are no room
service facilities available, and all
meals/snacks will be served in the dining
room only.
Electricity:
Shreyas is an eco friendly retreat, so
kindly switch off geysers after use. If
you wish to use the A/C, please close
all the windows.
Waste
disposal:
Shreyas is a "No Plastic Zone",
so please take care when disposing off
waste material while walking around the
Retreat. Contact the staff and we will
be glad to assist in this.
Shoes/Sandals
- It is traditional to avoid wearing footwear
inside the retreat/yoga hall, living/dining
areas as well as your tents/cottages.
We have provided sandals for wear inside
your rooms.
