OUR APPROACH
|
|
A
life coaching program should culminate in an experience
of “total living”, i.e., excelling in
personal relationships, professional & business
life and maintaining a healthy body & mind.
At
Inner Challenges, our aim is to work in tandem with
our clients every step of the way, to demystify
and simplify the learning, and to remain objective,
fair and where necessary, critical of their progress.

|
THE TOOLS EMPLOYED |
|
In the Indian tradition, excellence is recognized as
our essential nature. Its latent qualities such as functional
expertise and emotional stability, generosity, humility,
patience, forbearance etc. are to be brought forth through
a systematic harnessing, refining and purifying of our
body/mind energies. The gamut of processes for enabling
these is called Yoga.
Our
participative coaching programs use the medium of
yoga processes, interactive lectures, case studies
and exercises to enable learning. Extensive reference
to modern, social and behavioral science is also made
to demonstrate how this time-tested wisdom is essential
to live a fulfilling and successful life.
The coaching approach is in 3 stages:
·
STAGE 1 (3 months)
· Initial discussion to understand priorities
and goal setting
· Initiating a self study program – reading
suggested books, making notes and contemplative exercises
· Introduction of Yoga processes to help stabilize
the body and mind and provide strength, flexibility
and balance.
· One on one discussion with your coach on
how your existing life view compares with the ecological
view suggested by the reference
scriptures.
STAGE
2 (3 months)
· Setting of new goals and exercises to experiment
how much of the principles have been assimilated.
· Each exercise will be practiced for at least
one month. This allows the client to understand the
complexities and stubbornness of the mind,
when it comes to changing life pattern.
· Introduction to the Doctrine of Karma –
Karma is a generic term that describes the sum total
of all our previous experiences and memories,
which in turn a) direct us towards experiences and
b) conditions our response to them.
· Applying the Karma doctrine into understanding/resolving
our day to day conflicts and challenges. This is done
through case study exercises customized
for the client’s particular needs. For e.g.
dealing with a difficult boss, fear of
failure, improving inter-personal relationships etc.
· Introduction to more advanced yogic processes
of breathing, introspection/contemplative exercises
and sound meditation.
STAGE
3 (6 months)
· Introduction to science of sound –
Mantras. Mantras are sound vibrations that will heal,
harness and purify the psychosomatic system.
· As our system responds to the particular
mantras, we are able to draw and retain more energy
from the environment.
· Feedback and review of deliverables
